Cat
(185 words) My favorite animal is our cat Stepka. As far as I remember myself, he was always there, because it was with him that I spent all my free time. The steppe is completely black, and, as my mother says, this gives it an aristocratic look. My cat has small paws, a long tail and beautiful emerald-colored eyes. It seems to me that this is why my parents chose Stepka, and not any other cat.
Stepka is very funny, I like to play with him. Once, when dad bought him another toy, he got so carried away with it that he even forgot about me. However, I was not upset, because I know that my favorite always comes back to me. Despite his desire to have fun and climb all the shelves that we have in the apartment, he does not like to sit on my lap. Stepka generally does not like hugs and touching her smooth coat. Probably, he is still small, and when he grows up, he will become calm, docile and quiet. But I will still spend every day with him. I don’t even care about the games with him, but his silent presence.
I know that without Stepka “life will not be the same”. I love him very much.
Parrot
(210 words) Each person has a favorite pet. My friend has a dog, and my grandmother has a cat, and for me our parrot Yasha is the best friend. It will seem strange to many that an ordinary parrot can become a real member of the family, but our friend is special, both for me and for my family.
Yasha is a wavy parrot whose coloring resembles the sky. He is very handsome and kind, so all my friends love to talk with him, and all because Yasha knows a few words: "hello," "how are you," and "what time is it?" It looks very funny, so sometimes it seems to me that Yasha himself is glad that he knows how to support any conversation. He is also not afraid of other people's hands and sits happily on his head and even lets himself stroke - this is how he shows his friendliness. What is special about our parrot is that it can sing like a canary can’t. His voice is melodic and professional, as if he were attending classes at a music school!
Since childhood, I loved dogs, so when my parents asked me what I want for my birthday, I chose a puppy. But, seeing Yasha in a cage in a pet shop, I realized that this is my friend for life! And I was not mistaken, for 3 years now we have been with him, “how not to spill water”.
Dog
(211 words) Life without a pet robs the child of the joys of childhood. Therefore, my family went to meet me and once fulfilled my innermost desire. My friends have hamsters, dogs, cats and even iguanas at home, and I love my Rocky, my beloved dog. So I know what it means to have a best friend.
Rocky was 6 years old from the day we found him near the road. Wrapped in a blanket, he was trembling from the cold and seemed to be asking for help. I was the first to notice him and asked my parents to take him home. They doubted, but still lost. Rocky turned out to be a "golden" Labrador, so my mother wanted to give him a new name - Gold. It’s good that dad insisted on his own, now Rocky has completely adopted all the qualities of the hero of the movie “Rocky”. He is courageous and strong, therefore he will never give offense to me or my family. He is very funny, even my friend - Vanya - says that "this is the funniest dog I have ever seen!" It's true! Rocky loves to wriggle and jump into my arms, and it looks very funny.
I trust Rocky with all my secrets and, when I'm sad, try not to show that Rocky is not upset with me, because he feels everything that is possible! I'm so glad I have Rocky! He is the best dog in the world.
