The old prince treats children coldly, without showing paternal affection. He often reproaches and scolds his daughter. For example, he is indignant that Mary does not solve geometric problems well. The man even attacks the girl’s religiosity. But, despite the callousness and arrogance of her father, the heroine takes care of him and indulges his whims in everything. She even corrects his mistakes, trying to establish relations with the Rostovs, whom he offended by his cold welcome. Marya remains with Bolkonsky Sr. until his death and accepts his repentance. In addition, it is worth noting that the young woman took herself raising the son of her dead brother. She raised a boy with her children when she got married. At the same time, she internally reproached herself for the fact that she loved Nikolai less than her children. Thus, Marya Bolkonskaya is a kind person, because she is adorned with true virtues: compassion, meekness, kindness and the ability to forgive insults.

It was Sonya who persuaded Raskolnikov to confess to the murder, it was she who followed him to hard labor, it was to her that Rodion owed his moral resurrection. Thus, Sonya Marmeladova is an example of a kind person who is adorned with qualities such as humility, goodwill and selflessness.
So who is such a kind person? Great authors tell us that this is a person who is distinguished from others by such features as meekness of temper, compassion, kindness, the ability to sympathize and forgive insults. She realizes her bright thoughts in the active help to her neighbor, without requiring rewards and praise.
