(406 words) Parents and children should support and love each other, as well as take care of loved ones and loved ones. This is an axiom of human relations, with which it is impossible not to agree. I think, for the sake of this, people start a family, because it will always help out of trouble and console in difficult times. To justify my point of view, I will give examples from the literature.
There are several families in Leo Tolstoy’s novel War and Peace, but the author considered only one of them to be ideal for himself. This is the Rostov family, where kindness, understanding and care were the basis of the relationship. Of the last forces, the father helps out the losing son, gives him money to pay off the debt, denying himself everything. Children respond with good to good, trying to console father and mother with their successes. So, Nikolai strives for military glory and feats of arms, he expects to bring his family out of poverty, having made a military career. Natasha also wants to help and expects to profitably get married. And before this event, she strongly supports all members of the family. For the sake of the welfare of the family, Sonia sacrifices herself, abandoning the dream of an alliance with Nikolai. Thus, all Rostovs relate to each other correctly: they care, support and love. Therefore, in the finale, happiness awaits them.
Another example was depicted by F. M. Dostoevsky in the novel Crime and Punishment. In the Raskolnikov family, the foundations of relationships are mutual understanding, support and care. Therefore, all members of the family stand up for each other. So, Dunya decides on a marriage of convenience, if only to save her brother and mother from poverty. She worked as a governess, agreeing to humiliation and hard work in order to provide for her family. Rodion also studied and worked part-time to help his mother and sister. Even his theory is imbued with pain from the awareness of the injustice that his family faced. The mother of these generous children also did everything possible to support her son and daughter, and took care of them, sparing no strength. It was because of this that Rodion was ashamed to be in the company of these selfless women after he killed the old woman-interest-girl. Their mere presence was a moral reproach to him. Partly this feeling helped him realize and accept guilt. If not for the warm and deeply moral atmosphere in the family, Rodion would not repent of the crime. Thus, the right family relationships between parents and children are built on support, care and willingness to help.
I agree that the basis of family relationships can be called the ability to love and support each other in any situation. Another important component of a good relationship is the mutual care of fathers and children. That is how people should build their family in order to be protected from external adversities and anxieties, because relatives will always help out in difficult times.
