February 1953 The family of Abutalip Kuttybaev, a wife with two sons, lives on the Boranly-Burany stop. For investigator Tansykbaev, recognition of Abutalip would be a great success. He was delayed in the rank of major and will now be able to count on a promotion. He prayed to God that the train passed during the day, and only that he would not be called for interrogation at this time.
The train drove up to their native places. The investigator summoned for interrogation. Taksynbaev explained to Abutalip that they would be in Orenburg soon, there would be a confrontation with his two accomplices, with whom he had escaped from captivity and with whom he was conspiring, and told how Abutalip should behave during interrogation, because he is the main figure in so important thing.
